Sew Your Own Dungarees 

On this day workshop, which is ran from Just Sew Penrith, you will sew the ultimate on trend dungarees! They are super comfy with their relaxed fit, and carry you across all seasons!

There are pockets galore (5 to be precise! Not pocket mad? Then you can miss them off) have different tie closures choosing from simple ties or button holes and opt how to finish the legs, from a cropped, turned up hem or a classic simple hem. 

This workshop will cover a wide range of skills including:

• How to take measurements and pick out the size to match
• How to make any pattern adjustments
• Pocket Construction 
• Topstitching
• Plus lots of other different sewing techniques! 

Size range for the dungarees goes from from a XXS to 7XL (bust 30" - 60", waist 24" - 57" and hip 33" - 63"). If you would like a break down of the sizings before booking, please contact us. 

You do need to have some sewing machine experience for this course though not necessarily dressmaking. 

Please note that depending on the options you wish to sew, you may not complete your dungarees during the workshop.

What you will need to bring with you

• Fabric Fabric quantities will depend on the size you will sew. A full breakdown will be provided on booking. 
• Fabric suggetions include medium weigh wovens; linen, linen blends, denim/chambray, corduroy, twills/drills.  
• Fusible Interfacing 
• Sewing Kit
• Sewing Machine
