Get To Know Your Zips - Zip Masterclass

Zips - when it comes to sewing, it's hard to avoid them! Dressmaking, furnishings, bag making and accessories, a zip will appear just about everywhere! So now is the time to get over the "zip fear" and join us on this Zip Masterclass workshop. 

This workshop will cover;

• The type of zips that are available
• How to shorten a zip and how to finish them. 
• How to insert a centred zip
• How to insert a lapped zip
• How to insert a zippered pocket into bags
• How to insert a concealed/invisible zip
• How to insert a fly zip
• How to insert an exposed zip
• How to sew an open ended zip

You will be provided with a booklet covering all the steps taken to sew your different type of zips, so you don't need to panic about remembering everything! It's also perfect to use for referencing when sewing zips on your future projects!

Course Finish 4:00pm

• All zips and fabric that are required for sewing in your different types of zips
• Booklet with instructions of each zip method

• Sewing Machine and Sewing Kit
• Zipper Foot and Concealed Zipper Foot
